Lora Price, MLA, RLA
Before opening my practice as a garden designer and consultant on grass-roots community projects, I held a 19 year career as a project manager of park and natural area planning, design and construction projects for a number of National, State, Regional and City Park agencies in the Northwest.
As project manager my work involved, project scoping and problem solving, budgeting, site analysis, grant writing, construction oversight, volunteer coordination and communications. All of it has been great experience to lend to the work that I do now and love.
My undergraduate college education was completed in northern California where I earned a fine Arts Degree. I then studied organic horticulture in Santa Cruz for 2 years and married these loves by completing a landscape Architecture masters degree at the University of Oregon. I am a licensed landscape architect in Oregon. I have supplemented
